Backcountry Arrow (“we,” “us”) respects the information you share when you inquire about training. This page explains what we collect on backcountryarrow.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you submit a lesson request or contact form, we may collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Service of interest, experience level, bow type, and the goals you describe
  • Any other details you choose to include in your message

Separately, we use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used. Plausible is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and collects only aggregate measurements — pages viewed, referral source, country, device type, and interactions such as starting or submitting a form. It does not build a profile of you and does not collect personal data.

Lesson requests are stored in our database (Supabase) and used to send transactional email via Resend (a confirmation to you and a notification to Backcountry Arrow). Those providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

How we use it

  • To respond to training inquiries and schedule consultations or sessions
  • To understand which programs and pages matter to visitors
  • To improve the site and our communication — not to sell your information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share inquiry details with third parties for their marketing.

Who processes it

Form submissions are stored by Supabase and emailed via Resend. Analytics is provided by Plausible. Those providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

Retention

Inquiry messages are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain a working client relationship, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of business. Analytics data is aggregate only and is retained according to our Plausible settings.

Your choices

You may email info@backcountryarrow.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent us. California residents may also make requests related to the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will respond as required by law.

Our analytics sets no cookies and requires no consent banner. If you prefer to opt out entirely, most content blockers and browser tracking-protection settings will block it. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to request training.
